Privacy Policy

The short version

• The converter is built to process files in your browser whenever the selected format can be handled locally.
• We do not require accounts, do not store files on a server, and do not sell user data.
• Ads may appear on the website and are served by Google AdSense. The downloaded local version does not include ad scripts.

Information we collect

Files you convert. The web converter uses browser APIs and bundled local encoders where available. Files are read, transformed, and downloaded on your device. We do not upload, log, store, inspect, or transmit your files. Closing the tab discards everything in memory.

Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records basic request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp). These logs are used for security and abuse prevention and are retained for a limited period before being deleted automatically.

Analytics. If we use analytics in the future, we will use privacy-friendly aggregate analytics only - no per-user tracking, no cross-site profiles. This policy will be updated before any analytics provider is added.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to display ads on this site. AdSense and third-party vendors may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies allows it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
• You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
• For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we use Google's certified Consent Management Platform to gather consent for personalized ads where required.

The local downloadable ZIP contains the converter files and bundled local encoders. After it is downloaded and unzipped, it contains no ad scripts and does not need server uploads for conversion.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California) to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we do not maintain user accounts or store files, the data we actually hold about you is limited to ad-related cookies (controlled through Google's settings linked above) and short-lived server logs.
